Qualifications

• Current, valid Class A CDL.
• Current, valid New Mexico Driver's License.
• Minimum of three years of work-related experience operating commercial motor vehicles.
• Knowledge of commercial driving practices, safety requirements, and applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information and work with students from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the CDL A classroom/theory and commercial learner's permit preparation components.
• Work collaboratively with the CDL instructional team to prepare students for behind-the-wheel training.
• Participate in the college's Integrated Education and Training (IET) model, linking foundational skills with workforce prep.
