Job summary

Get Fresh Produce is hiring a Yard Spotter in the Chicago area. You will move equipment, back trailers into docks, fuel trucks, and monitor refrigeration. The role requires a CDL Class A and at least 1 year backing experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Typical schedule Sunday–Friday, 40–45 hours, day shift with overtime potential. Benefits include health, PTO, holidays, 401(k), and weekly pay. Sign-on bonus opportunity is available.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and clean PSP score.
• At least 1 year of truck and trailer backing experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently stage trailers/trucks for loading with temperature control.
• Maneuver and back trailers into docks; perform pre-trip checks.
• Fuel trucks and ensure refrigeration set points are correct.
• Collaborate with warehouse and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness.
• Follow safety protocols and operate yard equipment safely.
