Job summary

Testa Produce in Chicago is hiring a full-time yard driver to efficiently stage trailers, back trucks into loading docks, and maintain temperature-controlled shipments for restaurant and foodservice clients.

The role requires a valid CDL A, the ability to read and communicate in English, and availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime. You will work with warehouse and maintenance teams to keep operations safe and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Weekend, holiday, and overtime availability.

Responsibilities

• Stage trailers/trucks for loading with proper temperature control.
• Maneuver trailers/trucks into loading docks and back them safely.
• Ensure proper equipment is secured and safe during operations.
• Perform safety checks on yard and fleet.
• Collaborate with warehouse and maintenance teams to meet routes and repairs.
• Follow door assignments and maintain efficient yard flow.
