Job summary

Quirch Foods in Dallas, TX is seeking a motivated over-the-road truck driver with a valid CDL-A to join our logistics team. You will verify tractor-trailer lists, hook up units, inspect safety equipment, and coordinate with the night crew to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English for safety and operations.
• Meets FMCSR minimum requirements and passes pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Verify the list of assigned tractors and trailers.
• Move tractors and trailers in/out of doors and yard per supervisor instructions.
• Ensure tractors and trailers are ready to drive, with connections, landing gear, and doors secured.
• Inspect ramps and Thermoking units; ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
• Report repairs or safety issues to the supervisor and coordinate with night shift.
