Job summary

TransForce is hiring a CDL A Yard Jockey in Petersburg, Virginia for local, third-shift work with no-touch freight. You will move 53-foot trailers around the yard and to a nearby warehouse.

Requirements include a valid CDL A, 1+ year driving experience, clean MVR, and DOT/FMCSA compliance; you must be at least 21. Medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a referral program are provided. Compensation is $24 per hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• CDL A required.
• 1+ year of relevant driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in last 3 years.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a yard jockey using an automatic Ottawa (truck).
• Move 53-foot trailers around the yard and to a nearby warehouse.
• Handle rolls of paper or cardboard boxes as cargo.
