Job summary

Domino's in Odenton, MD is looking for a yard driver to reposition commercial tractors and trailers in the yard and shuttle units to and from docks. You will back trailers to doors, inspect vehicles, and coordinate with the Transportation Manager to keep deliveries on schedule.

This full-time role requires a Class A CDL with air brakes, a valid DOT Medical Card, and the ability to work a 2 PM–11 PM shift with some weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience; one year preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes.
• Must maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.
• Must meet MVR standards to drive company CMV.
• Background check required every third year on anniversary date.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Move and operate tractor/trailer in yard and at docks.
• Walk yard to document vehicle defects in DVCR booklet.
• Communicate maintenance needs to Transportation Manager daily.
• Record odometer, hub readings, and engine hours weekly.
• Ensure trailers carry refrigerated products at proper temperatures.
• Ensure warehouse team has trailers to unload/load.
• Assist with unloading trailers when necessary.
• Shuttle tractor/trailers to and from docks and logistic suppliers.
• Follow Domino’s safety rules and uniform standards.
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions.
