Job summary

Penske Logistics in Lancaster, TX is hiring immediate full-time CDL Class A Yard Truck Drivers. Earn $25.50 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and enjoy a home-daily schedule Monday through Friday with an 11 AM start.

You will operate late-model Penske trucks, perform yard duties, couple/uncouple, and support loading/unloading with safety-focused procedures. Regular, predictable attendance is required and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license required.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency as required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
• Couple and uncouple trailers.
• Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.
• Perform backhauls.
