Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Walking Floor Driver to join our Transportation team in Los Angeles, CA. You will operate Walking Floor trailers, comply with DOT rules, and ensure timely deliveries while upholding environmental sustainability.

The role requires a Class A CDL, at least 2 years of verifiable experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work a schedule from 3 AM to 3 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, with full-time non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements may be preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the Walking Floor Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Walking Floor Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.
