Job summary

Jones Welding & Industrial Supply, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver with a CDL A and Hazmat Endorsements to join our team. You will deliver cylinders and welding goods to clients, while upholding our standards of respect and customer service.

This role combines driving with warehouse support and occasional fill-in duties in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, energetic, and focused on high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A with Hazmat endorsement.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• 1 year of route driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cylinders and welding goods to clients on planned routes.
• Follow route and schedule to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload items and inspect delivery vehicle.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when needed.
• Maintain DOT safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• 1 Year of route driving experience requested
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid commercial driver's license and clean driving record
• Must have Hazmat endorsement
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, INCLUDING A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
