Job summary

Schneider National is seeking a Driver Instructor to coach, mentor and onboard new drivers in the Atlanta, GA area. You will train in the classroom and in the cab, focusing on safety, hours of service, trip-planning and our policies, while using Schneider’s tablets and workflow system.

This role emphasizes safety advocacy and driver retention, with opportunities for career development through company-paid training and more than 170 online courses.

Qualifications

• Previous instructor or training experience preferred.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.

• Able to learn, demonstrate and train Schneider’s company policies and procedures.

Driver qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• DOT physical card.

• Live within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA.
