Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for routes across the Eastern U.S., including FL, with overnight stays and a focus on safety. Expect 40+ hours weekly, per diem, a weekly guarantee, and paid training.

Relocation or hotel accommodations are provided for overnight trips, with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture. The role includes delivering solo, operating various tractors, and meeting strict DOT standards while supporting a growing, nationwide logistics

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dry van experience or similar
• Class A CDL with endorsements for the position
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOLO to FL and locations across the Eastern US, away from home up to 85% of the time
• Operate a mix of sleeper tractors with 53ft trailers and 26' straight trucks
• Train on equipment as needed and maintain safety standards
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations
