Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to operate in Appleton, WI. The role offers weekly pay, robust benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Routes cover the Midwest with overnights on some trips; equipment includes Dry Van, Flatbed, Reefer, and Conestoga. Ryder provides training, 24/7 roadside support, and an 8:00 AM start time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A verifiable experience in tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months with provide options, 2 years or 5 years depending on eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Ryder standards.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist when required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
