Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring drivers for a dedicated out-and-back Ohio lane from West Mifflin, PA. No experience is required as trainees are welcome. The position includes 4 to 6 weeks of paid training, performance bonuses, and several routes offering around 1,800 miles per week.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR — no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Drive dedicated out-and-back Ohio lane with average 1,800 miles per week.
• Participate in a new driver training program for up to 6 weeks.
• Complete live load/unload, preload, drop & hook tasks.

Job description

Pay

• $0.56 to $0.64 CPM based on experience
• Average weekly gross: $1,300 to $1,500
• Short haul bonus: $40 per load under 100 miles
• Stop pay: $15.00 per stop
• Driver Performance Bonus

Home Time

• Dedicated out-and-back Ohio lane
• 34-hour restarts
• Weekend work required

The Lane

• Dedicated planner assigned to you
• Plenty of freight, no sitting
• Live load/unload, preload, drop & hook
• ~1,800 miles per week
• Cold weather routes — winter driving experience a plus

New Driver Training Program

• 4 to 6 weeks paid training
• Ride with an experienced trainer first
• Go solo as soon as you're ready — no forced team driving
• Paid from day one of orientation
• Start earning $0.56 CPM the day you finish training and go solo
