Sportech is seeking a professional truck driver in Elk River, MN to transport materials, equipment, and finished products on short trips. You will load and unload, maintain accurate driver logs, and ensure timely deliveries in compliance with regulations.

Qualified candidates possess a CDL Class A, forklift certification, ability to lift heavy items, basic computer skills, and the ability to collaborate with teammates. DOT physical compliance is required for employment.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Forklift training and certification required.
• Must be able to lift and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Accurate counting skills required.
• Some computer skills desired.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with team members.
• Ability to lead small groups and provide work direction.
• Must pass and maintain DOT physical.

Responsabilités

• Operates and drives a truck to transport materials, equipment, finished products, and personnel on short trips.
• Loads and unloads materials as needed.
• Drives and applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Maneuvers truck into loading/unloading positions.
• Maintains driver logs according to regulations.
• Performs receiving verification counts and checks against orders.
• Places raw materials in designated staging locations and pulls materials as scheduled.
• Assists in training staff on truck driving requirements.
