Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring a CDL A City P&D Driver in Oklahoma City. This full-time role has you delivering and picking up freight within the city, with multiple stops each day and daily home time.

Starting pay is $31.55 per hour, Monday through Friday shifts, with various start times. You will operate scanning equipment, work closely with customers, and may perform liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP with no serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if FMCSA specs for military to civilian transition.
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a successful road test.
• Must bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup freight within the city with multiple stops daily.
• Use scanning equipment and interact with customers during delivery.
• Complete potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.

CDL-A Truck Driver Local, Starting at $31.55 hr

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts

Our drivers are home every day!

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CDL A City P&D Drivers at our Oklahoma City, OK Service Center. As a City P&D Driver you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight and returning to the terminal daily. This includes multiple stops per working day, working with scanning equipment, working directly with customers, and completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Local delivery experience
