Job summary

Ryder in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for a home-daily role with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Expect pay by mileage, stops, and a per-night schedule with 4:00–6:00 AM start times.

This solo driver position offers training, paid onboarding, and a ready-made path to a stable driving career. Routes are 300 miles around Fort Worth, with hotel stays on some overnights and a strong focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• DOT medical card and clean driving record.
• 9 months to 5 years tractor-trailer experience per the listed options.
• Ability to pass Ryder drug test and background check.
• Ability to read and follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
