thyssenkrupp Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver in Acworth, GA to deliver products to customers with a focus on safety and accuracy. You will verify loads, assist with loading, and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.

Expect a $31.65 per hour wage, a comprehensive benefits package, and a Monday–Friday schedule with home most nights. Responsibilities include delivering products, securing loads, collecting COD payments when needed, and providing feedback on issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
• Excellent driving record and safe driving habits.
• Flat-bed truck experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and load/unload as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify correct items are loaded for delivery.
• Perform inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure load is secure.
• Assist in loading/unloading and secure the truck; ensure no overweight condition.
• Deliver product and paperwork to customers promptly and courteously.
• Keep area clean from debris after loading/unloading; maintain truck.
• Complete required paperwork at end of shift, including logs and delivery receipts.
• Collect COD money and hand to proper personnel on return to plant.
• Provide feedback on delivery or mechanical issues to supervision.
