Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Logistics is hiring a Truck Driver to provide timely product delivery. Represent ThyssenKrupp Materials, NA with professional, courteous service and ensure truck readiness. The role pays $31.65 per hour and requires a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A with at least 1 year verifiable driving experience.
• Maintain an excellent driving record and safe operating practices.
• Experience with flat-bed trailers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify that correct items are loaded for delivery.
• Perform pre/during/post-delivery inspections to ensure load security.
• Assist in loading/unloading; secure and manage weight on trucks.
• Deliver product and required paperwork to customers promptly and courteously.
• Ensure debris from loading/unloading is cleaned up.
• Maintain truck service and complete required inspections.
• Complete all necessary end-of-shift paperwork (logs, deliveries, inspections).
• Collect COD money and route to proper personnel on return to plant.
• Provide feedback to supervision on delivery or mechanical problems.
