Alta Equipment Group, one of the largest equipment dealerships in North America, is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver for our Traverse City, MI branch. This is a union position with Local 324.

The role requires at least one year of prior driving experience, heavy equipment hauling, a clean CDL, DOT knowledge, and strong mechanical skills. We offer training, benefits through the local union, a company laptop and cell phone, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load security required.
• Prior experience hauling heavy equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Haul heavy equipment to job sites and unload as needed.
• Secure loads with appropriate tie-downs and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and complete logs accurately.
