Heartland Express is hiring CDL-A truck drivers to operate dry van freight with a no-touch delivery model. This role emphasizes home weekly schedules and strong weekly miles, with a focus on safety and on-time performance.

Eligible drivers can expect competitive pay, detention and breakdown pay, and access to modern equipment across a 48-state operating area. Paid orientation and training help new hires ramp up quickly.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL is required
• 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the last year
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Safety-first attitude with a proven driving record

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a dry van freight truck in a no-touch environment
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Use drop & hook and other no-touch freight practices to maximize efficiency
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to deliver timely shipments
• Report any incidents or delays to the fleet supervisor
