Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a tractor trailer for up to 10 consecutive hours.
• Class A CDL License and two years of driving experience, steel hauling preferred.
• Ability to climb on and off the semi-trailer as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates a truck with capacities greater than 3 tons to transport and deliver steel products.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections and maintains inspection paperwork.
• Secures cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.

Skills

Ability to operate a clutch pedal

Knowledge of D.O.T and FMCSR requirements

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

Class A CDL License

Two years of driving experience
