Job summary

Castle Contracting in Omaha, NE is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our local equipment fleet and support field operations. You will drive and maintain equipment, load and haul with lowboy trailers, and stay compliant with DOT regulations.

The role requires a reliable, self-motivated driver who can work independently, manage yard tasks, and adapt to field needs. Occasional overnight travel may be required; 18+ and ability to pass DOT medical and background checks are expected.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Experience operating lowboy (RGN) trailers.
• Ability to load, secure, and haul construction equipment.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A vehicles safely and in DOT compliance.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Load and haul equipment using truck and trailer, including lowboy trailers.
• Communicate with supervisors and job site personnel.
• Support field operations by responding to crew needs.
• Perform general labor tasks in the yard as needed.
• Make minor repairs and basic maintenance on equipment and trucks.
• Keep the yard and warehouse organized and maintained.
• Assist in maintaining inventories of tools, safety supplies, and consumables.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
