J & J Trucking, Inc. seeks professional CDL Class A Truck Drivers to join our safety-focused team. Drivers are responsible for the safe and timely transport of freight while complying with FMCSA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license and DOT Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience and at least 24 years old.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety practices.
• Able to operate ELD systems and follow routing instructions.
• Willing to obtain Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles, and Triples endorsements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Transport freight to designated locations on time and in good condition.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Properly secure loads and verify weight distribution compliance.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documentation.
• Comply with all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety regulations.
• Report delays, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Provide professional customer service at all pickup and delivery locations.
• Ensure all bills of lading and paperwork are completed accurately.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs as needed
• Ability to climb, bend, and secure loads when required
• Must meet all DOT physical requirements
