Summary

The Macomb Group, a leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full-time Class A driver at our Akron, Ohio location. We distinguish ourselves through expansion, exceptional customer service, and a large inventory. We seek a motivated, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Local deliveries
2. Transport materials to and from specified destinations
3. Prepare receipts for load pickup
4. Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery
5. Load and unload truck materials as needed
6. Assist with warehouse duties after routes

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
3. Class A License
4. DOT Certification
5. Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
6. Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs frequently
7. Skill in strapping and loading materials onto truck bed
8. Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Location: Akron, Ohio

Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift; OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM; no nights, holidays, or Sundays
