Job summary

Inotiv, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Transfer/Flex Driver to operate on the road, transporting research products, animals, and related cargo between company facilities and customer locations. The role supports flexible route coverage and adheres to DOT regulations, safety, and biosecurity procedures.

Weekend and overnight shifts are possible; the position guarantees 40 hours per week. Compensation is $45.00 per hour with full benefits, including health and dental coverage, disability, paid time off,

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, push, or pull up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to safely drive for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Ability to read maps, use GPS systems, and follow routing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles with a GVW exceeding 26,000 pounds in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Shift: Sunday - Saturday (may include overnights + rotating routes) Full-time position (40 hours guaranteed)
• Provide transfer and flexible route coverage for scheduled routes, vacations, absences, special runs, and changing operational demands.
• Pick up, verify, transport, and deliver loads accurately and on schedule.
• Accurately complete transportation, inspection, delivery, and regulatory paperwork.
• Safely load and unload various types of cargo, including touch freight as required.
