Job summary

Inotiv, a leading global contract research organization, is seeking a CDL A Transfer/Flex Driver to safely transport research products, animals, and related cargo between facilities and customer locations. The role requires providing flexible route coverage, adhering to DOT regulations, and maintaining high safety standards.

The position entails overnights, rotating routes, and potential long drives, with pay at $45.00 per hour and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, push, or pull up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be willing to travel overnight and across the country for weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles with GVW >26,000 lbs following DOT regulations.
• Provide transfer and flexible route coverage for scheduled routes and special runs.
• Transport and deliver loads accurately and on schedule.
• Complete transportation, inspection, and regulatory paperwork.
• Follow DOT hours-of-service and navigate using maps or GPS.
