Capital Waste Services is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a tractor-trailer for the transportation of waste and recyclables. The role requires safe hauling between transfer stations, landfills, and other locations while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Class A experience, a valid CDL-A and DOT Medical Card. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and pass screening is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• DOT Medical Card must be valid.
• MVR must meet company/insurance requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Two years of satisfactory driving experience with Class A vehicles required.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer in compliance with laws and company policy.
• Transport waste and recyclables to landfills, transfer stations, and designated facilities.
• Secure loads and ensure safe transport; maintain accurate trip logs and tickets.
• Coordinate with dispatch for routing and load instructions; report delays or issues.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical issues and safety concerns.
