As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of petroleum products to commercial customers and retail sites. Your goal will be to adhere to the daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre- and post-trip inspections while maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibilities :

• Deliver Irving Oil Products to various locations within designated geographical areas
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle performance standards are met
• Review and plan daily routes in collaboration with Dispatch to optimize efficiency
• Safely load and unload products, adhering to safety policies
• Evaluate safety conditions continuously and report hazards or unsafe situations to management
• Complete daily shift reports and accurate paperwork
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle inside and out

Your Skills:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with load builders, dispatchers, and customers
• Basic mathematical skills
• Good judgment and technical skills on the road
• Experience with liquid loads is an asset
• Ability to work 12-hour schedules

Your Experience:

• Valid CDL Class A Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial transportation experience
