Job summary

Clayton Connect is seeking a Class A CDL driver for toter operations, responsible for transporting oversized loads safely and professionally. You will manage permits, logs, and coordination with escort drivers while delivering to retail locations across the region.

The role requires extensive trucking experience, adherence to DOT rules, and a commitment to world-class customer service during over‑the‑road operations and on-site handoffs.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required and valid.
• Extensive experience operating toter/overweight loads.
• Ability to complete accurate delivery paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Transport oversized loads safely within the region.
• Operate and maintain equipment with daily checks and logs.
• Ensure DOT compliance and proper permits before delivery.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Escort Drivers for permits and routes.
• Schedule and execute pickup and delivery to retail locations.
• Provide timely delivery paperwork and accomplish end-of-shift cleanup.
• Report accidents or load damages promptly to supervisors.
