Job summary

Optimum Staffing , Inc is seeking a CDL-A driver for sleeper truck routes on a 1,500-2,500+ mile per week schedule from Lakeland, FL to McDonough, GA. The position requires team driving, 100% hand unloading with a liftgate, and adherence to DOT regulations.

You will depart Sundays, drive Sunday through Friday, and return home at the end of the week. Expect to work with medical shipments and maintain high safety and customer service standards at healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 24 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Willing to work as part of a team driving operation.
• Comfortable performing 100% hand unloading with a liftgate.
• Willing to stay out Sunday through Friday each week.
• Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, Background Check, and MVR Review.

Responsibilities

• Transport medical supplies from Lakeland, FL to McDonough, GA and complete daily delivery routes.
• 100% hand unload freight using a liftgate.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance.
• Accurately complete logs and delivery paperwork.
• Deliver safely while providing excellent customer service at healthcare facilities.

• Paid Weekly | Team Driving | 1,500-2,500+ Miles/Week
• Paid by milage, stops, drops, etc
• Work Sunday-Friday, departing Sunday around midnight and returning Friday evening.
• Operate a Sleeper Truck with a liftgate trailer on OTR team routes.
• Transport medical supplies from Lakeland, FL to McDonough, GA, then complete daily delivery routes throughout the week before returning to Lakeland.
• 100% hand unload freight using the liftgate trailer.
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and accurately complete logs and delivery paperwork.
• Deliver safely while providing excellent customer service at healthcare facilities.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 24 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team driving operation.
