Job summary

CR England is seeking experienced truck drivers to haul dry freight for Target stores from a key distribution network. Routes run across MD, NJ, PA, VA, WV and the DC area, with weekly home time and a 34-hour reset.

Expect 1,900 miles per week on mostly drop-and-hook runs with automatic transmissions. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, and have 3+ months of recent CDL experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, life/AD&D and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Ability to take trucks home within 35 miles of last delivery when safe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry freight to Target stores.
• Haul loads on set lanes across MD, NJ, PA, VA, WV and the DC area.
• Most loads are drop-and-hook; some locations may require driver unload assist.
• Operate on a 24/7 schedule with home weekly for a 34-hour reset.

Job description

Six states plus the DC area make up the delivery map on this Target condo fleet, with every week anchored to the Target Regional Distribution Center in Stuarts Draft, VA. You haul dry freight to Target stores on set lanes, and you head home weekly for a 34-hour reset.

Drivers average 1,900 miles a week. Most loads are drop and hook, and the trucks are all automatic transmissions.

• Dry freight delivered to Target stores
• Deliveries throughout MD, NJ, PA, VA, WV and the DC area
• Distribution center at 345 Mount Vernon Rd., Stuarts Draft, VA 24477
• Most loads are drop and hook
• A few small format stores require a driver unload assist

Truck Driver Schedule:

• Home weekly for a 34-hour reset
• The account runs 24/7, including holidays
• You need to be able to work both day and night shifts
• All trucks have automatic transmissions
• Top of the line equipment from one of the newest fleets in the country

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
