Job summary

C&S Chemicals is seeking an experienced Tanker Truck Driver to join our Logistics Team in Cambridge, MD. This full-time role requires a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements and at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience on similar equipment.

Role includes safe operation, thorough inspections, and adherence to USDOT regulations, with weekly home time and regional routes. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CDL A (unrestricted) required.
• Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements required.
• Minimum 24 months verifiable commercial driving experience within last 36 months on similar equipment.
• No more than three moving violations in last 36 months.
• No more than one serious violation in last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives and operates tanker trucks in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and maintains hours-of-service logs via ELD.
• Wears required PPE (masks, gloves, chemical suits, etc.) and follows SOPs for loading/discharging materials.
• Connects/disconnects trailers, secures vehicles, and handles trailer landing gear.
• Verifies load documents (BOLs), delivery instructions, and routes.
• Performs basic vehicle maintenance and emergency roadside repairs as needed.
