Job summary

Schneider National is seeking a Driver Instructor-based role in Monroeville to coach, onboard and train new CDL drivers. Responsibilities include classroom and hands-on in-truck training, safety instruction, and adoption of Schneider’s policies.

The role emphasizes safety advocacy and driver development within the local driving community. The position involves teaching driving skills per Schneider guidelines and showing drivers how to use electronic tablets and workflow systems.

Skills qualifications

• Previous instructor or training experience preferred.

Driver qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• DOT physical card.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Tanker endorsement required at time of hire.
• HazMat endorsement required after starting - Schneider's self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 50 miles of Coraopolis, PA.
