Job summary

Altom Transport, Inc. is seeking professional tanker drivers in the United States. The role requires a valid CDL A with tanker endorsements and a strong safety record. Candidates should have multiple tanker years of experience and be prepared for DOT inspections and regulatory compliance.

You will load, unload, and transport bulk liquids, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch. A safe, professional approach and flexibility for 24/7 operations are valued at Altom.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Must hold a current X endorsement (Hazmat + Tanker).
• Tanker Endorsement (N) required.
• Hazmat Endorsement (H) preferred (must obtain within 90 days).
• TWIC Card preferred (or after hire).
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tanker driving in last 5 years.
• At least 23 years of age.
• Clean MVR and strong safety record.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with safety protocols.
• Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records, logs and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions.
