Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a CDL Class A truck driver to pick up and offload aggregate materials in Cincinnati, OH. Local deliveries and home every night. A current CDL A license and clean MVR are required.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist with loading, maintain driver logs, and ensure safe operation of end dump and pneumatic trailers. Strong communication with dispatch and adherence to DOT regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL A license and clean MVR required.
• 2+ years of current CDL experience preferred.
• Must pass DOT yearly physical and safety checks.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the pickup and offloading of aggregate raw materials using a pneumatic tanker trailer. In some instances, the drivers may be required to work in the End Dump department. Current CDL A license and clean MVR are required. Local deliveries and home every night. Job Responsibilities

• Pick up raw aggregate materials
• Safely dumping raw materials using end dump trailer
• Transportblock,mortar, and all other building materials to customer in a safe manner as needed
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
• Receive from dispatcher invoice for materials, directions to job site and any special instructions and follow them to the detail
• Maintain complete and accurate records such as drivers' daily truck log, fuel tickets, delivery documentation, and any other required documents according to state and federal regulations
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report immediately any concerns or problems
• Provide and document proper routine maintenance of assigned truck and loading/unloading equipment
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma orequivalent
• CDL A license required
• Must have at least 2 years of current CDL experience
• Clean MVR
• Must have strongcommunication skills
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Required DOT yearly physical
