Job summary

Oldcastle APG is hiring a CDL-A driver responsible for pickup and offloading of aggregate materials using a pneumatic tanker trailer. Local deliveries and returning home every night are expected. A current CDL-A license with a clean MVR is required, along with 2 years of CDL experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up raw aggregate materials.
• Safely dumping raw materials using end dump trailer.
• Transport concrete and other building materials to customers safely.
• Make assigned deliveries safely and promptly.
• Assist and supervise loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Receive invoices/directions from dispatcher and follow them precisely.
• Maintain records such as daily truck log and fuel tickets per regulations.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report issues.
• Provide routine maintenance documentation for the truck and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the pickup and offloading of aggregate raw materials using a pneumatic tanker trailer. In some instances, the drivers may be required to work in the End Dump department. Current CDL A license and clean MVR are required. Local deliveries and home every night. Job Responsibilities

• Pick up raw aggregate materials
• Safely dumping raw materials using end dump trailer
• Transportblock,mortar, and all other building materials to customer in a safe manner as needed
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
• Receive from dispatcher invoice for materials, directions to job site and any special instructions and follow them to the detail
• Maintain complete and accurate records such as drivers' daily truck log, fuel tickets, delivery documentation, and any other required documents according to state and federal regulations
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report immediately any concerns or problems
• Provide and document proper routine maintenance of assigned truck and loading/unloading equipment
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements
