Lancaster Leaf Tobacco Co. Inc., a subsidiary of Universal Corporation, seeks a Receiving Storage CDL Truck Driver in Lancaster, PA. You will safely move trailers and equipment within the yard and dock areas to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card, a clean driving record, and the ability to back and maneuver trailers in tight spaces; you must work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or college degree.
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company driving standards.
• Ability to back, maneuver, and uncouple trailers in tight yard and dock areas.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer to move trailers throughout the yard and between locations.
• Maintain an accurate yard inventory and provide daily updates.
• Move loaded, empty, and staged trailers to designated parking areas, drop lots, or dock locations.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine equipment inspections and report safety concerns.
• Communicate with management, warehouse staff, and outside drivers.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, and inspection reports accurately and on time.
