Job summary

Barr-Nunn Transportation is seeking experienced solo and team company drivers for 100% no-touch freight and 85% drop-and-hook operations. Top performers average $97,500/year (solo) or $121,800/year (team) with mile pay of $0.80/mi (solo) or $1.07/mi (team) and a transition bonus up to $4,125 on first check.

Equipment includes Freightliner, Cascadia, and Kenworth T680 tractors with TV, microwave, refrigerator, inverter, and other comforts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL (CDL A).
• At least 8 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, or 6 months when teaming with an experienced driver.
• Eligible to operate a commercial motor vehicle under DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policy.
• MVR with three or fewer moving violations in the last three years.
• No recordable accidents or major moving violations within the last 3 years.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clear FMCSA Clearinghouse status.

• Top 50% of drivers average $121,800 per driver/year
• Top starting mileage pay:
  • $1.07/mile
• $2,450 - $4,125 transition bonus on 1st check (through Sept 25th)

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver?s license (CDL A)
• At least 8 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, or 6 months if you are teaming with an experienced driver
• Currently eligible to operate a commercial motor vehicle under DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policy
• To remain eligible for company insurance coverage, operators must demonstrate a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR), defined as having three (3) or fewer moving violations in the most recent three-year window
• No recordable accidents or major moving violations (as defined by 49 CFR 383.5) within the last 3 years
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (per 49 CFR Part 40) and have a clear status in the FMCSA Clearinghouse
