Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for solo OTR runs in Boiling Springs, Inman and Spartanburg County. Expect about 2,000 miles weekly with average pay around $1,625+, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Freight is predominantly no-touch, with assigned trucks you can take home. Expect an extended schedule (10–14 days out, 2 days home), 68 mph governed trucks, a 1,250-watt inverter, and per-diem with weekly pay and annual raises.

Job description

We're hiring experienced CDL-A drivers in Boiling Springs, Inman and Spartanburg County for a solo OTR dry van seat. Drivers average $1,625+ a week on about 2,000 miles, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

No seat is perfect. Here's the honest version, good and bad.

What drivers like

• $1,625+ average weekly pay, plus the $5,000 sign-on bonus
• 99% no-touch freight, about 85% drop and hook
• Assigned truck, 2023 or newer, automatic, and you can take it home
• Cameras face the road, not you
• Monthly bonus of up to 3 cents a mile, and loyalty pay of +3 to +6 cents after a year
• Per diem, weekly pay, and yearly raises
• Detention at $12.50 an hour after 2 hours, and $100 a day for layover or breakdown
• NYC is never forced
• A rider and one dog or cat up to 80 lbs are allowed

What you should know first

• This is OTR. You're out 10 to 14 days, then home 2. If you need home weekly, this isn't your seat.
• Trucks are governed at 68 mph.
• There's no APU, but there is a 1,250-watt inverter.
• Dispatch plans your routes and fuel stops.
• Freight goes to all 48 states, mostly east of I-35.
