Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a CDL A Driver to join the Shop Team in Hillsborough Township, NJ, to support on-site maintenance and parts delivery for fleets nationwide. duties include transporting vehicles, delivering parts, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining safety and shop cleanliness.

The role emphasizes working with the maintenance shop, delivering to customers, and adhering to all safety guidelines as part of Cox Fleet’s service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience, or alternative combinations such as higher-level degree/certification in a related field; or 5 years of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle commercial vehicles to be repaired or post-repairs between the maintenance shop and customers; be home every evening.
• Pickup and deliver parts from local parts stores/distribution centers back to the maintenance shop.
• Provide excellent customer service by going above and beyond customers’ expectations.
• Contribute to achievement of Maintenance Shop department goals and objectives.
• Make parts runs to parts stores and deliver to shops and mobile techs.
• Assist Bert in maintaining the parts shelves for the techs.
• Assist with shop cleanliness.
• Pick up customer trailers with our tractor and deliver to shop and other yards.
• Pick up and deliver customer trucks.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Attend management meetings when requested.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business requirements.
