Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers Needed - Home Daily!

Universal Dedicated of Detroit is seeking reliable CDL-A drivers for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to join a union position with steady freight, consistent schedules, and daily home time.

Terminal Location:

14250 Plymouth Rd
Detroit, MI

Pay:

• - $22.50/hour experienced drivers
• - $21.00/hour for 0-1 year experience
• - After 1 year jumps to $ 24.25 /hour

Position Details:

• - Local shuttle routes (home daily)
• - 1st shift opening 5 am - 2:30 pm
• - Light touch freight (not loading and unloading but will involve chaining or strapping up loads that drivers are held accountable for)
• - 2-3 runs per day between terminal and customer locations
• - Consistent 8-9 hour workdays
• - OT after 40 hours (5-10 hours usually for 5 day work week. more if a 6th day is offered)
• - Stable, year-round work
• - Union position (Teamsters Local 299)
• - Seniority-based route bidding every 6 months
