Superior Beverage Group in Lorain, OH is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport product between drop lots and the Solon main facility. Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 5pm–1:00/2:00am, $25.00 hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Expect vehicle inspections, loading within weight limits, DOT paperwork, and safe operation of trucks and forklifts. Requirements include CDL A, clean record, and strong communication; prior driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred in shuttle driving or related roles.
• Ability to perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Knowledge of weight limits and safe loading procedures.
• Capable of operating trucks and forklifts and handling paperwork.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid CDL A.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Picks up and delivers loads within time constraints.
• Ensure accurate loading within weight restrictions.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with shift manager on trailer assignments.
• Operate equipment per DOT guidelines and maintain safety.

Job Details: Job Location: Lorain - Lorain, OH 44502, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $25.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Swing, Shuttle Drivers utilize company trucks to safely transport product to and from drop lots and other company locations in a timely manner. These drivers are responsible for taking fully loaded trailers to and from our drop lot locations (Columbiana, Lorain, or Canton) and hauling back to our main facility in Solon, OH.

Shuttle Driver Shift:

Sunday through Thursday, 5pm - 1:00/2:00am

Shuttle Driver Duties:

• Inspect assigned vehicles daily for mechanical problems. Ensures cleanliness of cab and trailer. Completes D.O.T. regulated pre-trip/post-trip inspections and submits documentation daily.
• Picks up and delivers loads within time constraints.
• Ensures product is loaded accurately and within weight restrictions.
• Completes and submits all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Works with the shift manager in spotting trailers and ensuring proper assignment of loads to each trailer.
• Operates equipment within D.O.T. guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner. Complies with all D.O.T. regulations.

Qualifications: Shuttle Driver Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• Problem solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of all D.O.T. and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and guidelines
• Ability to operate company trucks, forklifts and equipment
• Ability to drive long distances and for extended periods of time
• Effective communication skills
• Clean driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class A Commercial Drivers License Required, Doubles Endorsement Preferred
• Current Drivers Medical Card
• Perform duties in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Capable of performing physical activity that requires considerable use of arms and legs, and movement of the whole body, such as lifting and bending.
