Job summary

Sysco's SYGMA Danville operation seeks an experienced Delivery Driver to transport products safely from the warehouse to customers, loading, unloading, and delivering according to invoices and company standards.

You’ll work with a team to ensure timely deliveries, maintain paperwork and follow DOT regulations, with the potential to earn high incentives through bonuses and a strong incentive plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required and insurability to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers by tractor trailer according to invoices and standards.
• Complete all required logs, inspections and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and sanitary vehicle/warehouse conditions.
• Develop good relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.
