Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a Delivery Driver for SYGMA Team in Illinois. You will transport products from the warehouse via tractor trailer to customers, delivering and unloading per invoices and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Ability to drive a tractor-trailer unit day and night and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, per company standards.
• Ensures all paperwork and logs are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse areas.
• Develops and maintains good customer relationships through clear communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
