Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a CDL A Route Driver in New Orleans, LA. You will safely operate a Class A truck, load and secure tires, and document requirements on handheld devices. Expect two-person teams, strict DOT safety, and steady daily routes serving customers along designated paths.

The role demands physical tire handling, attention to load integrity, and professional interaction with customers and dispatch to ensure timely pickups and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and compliance.
• Valid Class A CDL and ability to meet DOT physical and drug tests.
• Experience with safe lifting, stacking, and tire handling.
• Professional communication with dispatch and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes to remove used tires from customer locations.
• Work in two- or three-person teams to load, stack, and secure tires on the truck.
• Complete signatures and field documentation via handheld devices or tablets.
• Ensure proper load securement and DOT compliance before transport.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections; report safety concerns.
• Maintain clean, safe, and operational equipment; communicate route status to team.
