Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking Class A drivers who excel at customer service and prioritize safety to join our team in Houston, TX. The CDL A Route Delivery Driver will operate company vehicles to deliver freight on schedule, unload, and complete required paperwork in compliance with regulations.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL A, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, and a clean driving record. This is a non-exempt, on-site role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and/or pickup freight to/from customer locations or terminals as instructed.
• Ensure shipping documents are ready for DOT inspection with shipments.
• Load/unload freight with or without mechanical assistance as needed.
