Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Class A Route Delivery Driver. You will operate a company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and on time to and from customer locations, unload and reload freight, and complete required paperwork following DOT and company procedures.

The position is non-exempt, non-management, and requires focus on safety, reliability, and customer service while maintaining accurate records and adhering to route schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum age 21
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI/DWI in past 3 years; no more than 3 traffic violations in past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch
• Ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment
• Loads and/or unloads freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, with or without mechanical assistance
