Job summary

SYGMA Illinois is seeking delivery drivers to transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring accurate delivery and proper unloading per invoices and company standards.

The role requires a Class A CDL, knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers. You will operate a tractor-trailer, work overnight hours, and participate in safety and sanitation practices in all weather and traffic conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Must have Class A CDL and be insurable to operate company vehicles.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices is essential.

Responsibilities

• Transport products from warehouse to customers via tractor-trailer.
• Deliver and unload products according to invoices and standards.
• Complete required paperwork accurately (logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices).
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Build good relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
