Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc is seeking Class A Route Delivery Drivers in Sioux Falls, SD. Candidates should be 21+, with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, and hold or be willing to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. A clean driving record and no DUI/DWI within 3 years are required.

The role involves safe operation of company vehicles, loading/unloading freight, and completing required DOT paperwork; shift is Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years).
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain - renewals reimbursable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or the supervisor.
• Ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies the shipment to the delivery point.
• Loads and/or unloads a wide variety of freight onto and off a company motor vehicle, with or without mechanical assistance.
