American Trucking Group is seeking CDL-A drivers for a regional east-of-I-35 operation near Atlanta. You’ll run 100% no-touch freight with weekly home time and a mix of drop-and-hook and live-loads in late-model automatic tractors.
Trucks average 18 months or newer; orientation is offered in the Atlanta area. Pay is $1,700–$1,900 per week, with detention and layover pay, 401(k) with company match after six months, and paid vacation.

Weekly home time and no-touch freight give Atlanta CDL-A drivers a strong regional setup without the physical work of unloading trailers. Drivers primarily operate east of I-35 with consistent full-time freight and newer automatic equipment.
Drivers haul 100% no-touch freight, with approximately 50-60% drop-and-hook and the remaining loads handled through live unloads.
Routes operate primarily east of I-35. Broader lower-48 freight may occasionally be assigned based on customer demand, but drivers are never responsible for unloading freight.
Drivers operate late-model automatic equipment from a fleet averaging approximately 18 months or newer. Freightliner, Kenworth and Volvo tractors are assigned based on availability.
Trucks include 1,200–1,500 watt inverters. Drivers may take their truck home with safe parking or use an approved company terminal.
Orientation begins Monday or Wednesday and pays $100 per day for three days. Atlanta-area orientation is available in Ellenwood, Georgia. Transportation, single-person hotel accommodations and meals are provided.
